2-Pack Barn Door Soft Close Kit – Hidden Track-Mounted Damper for 88–132 lb Sliding Barn Doors
Stop the Bang at the End of Every Slide
A beautiful sliding barn door shouldn't finish every movement with a loud impact. This hidden soft-close kit helps catch the door near the end of travel and guide it into a smoother, quieter close.
One Hard Push Can Send the Door Straight Into the Stop
Barn doors are heavy. Once they start moving, momentum carries them toward the end of the track. Push a little too hard and the door can hit the stop with a loud bang, shake the hardware or bounce slightly back.
A heavy sliding door can create an unpleasant bang when it reaches the track stop.
Fast closing can make the door rebound slightly after contact.
Bedroom, nursery and late-night use can make every hard close feel even louder.
Catch the Door Before It Reaches the Hard Stop
As the door approaches the end of its travel, the soft-close mechanism is designed to engage and slow the final movement — helping turn a hard finish into a more controlled close.
The door continues sliding normally through most of the track.
Near the end position, the mechanism catches the closing movement.
The last part of the slide becomes slower and more controlled.
Push It Normally — Let the Soft Close Handle the Finish
Without a damper, you may find yourself consciously slowing the door every time you use it. A properly installed soft-close mechanism helps manage that final movement so everyday use feels more natural.
You don't have to carefully guide the door all the way to the end every time.
Helps reduce the impact noise associated with a hard final stop.
A gradual finish simply feels more refined during daily use.
Low-Profile Hardware Keeps the Focus on the Barn Door
Barn door hardware is already a major visual feature. The soft-close components use a slim, track-oriented design so the upgrade doesn't need to become the first thing you notice.
The main unit measures approximately 0.74 inches high according to the supplied diagram.
Matches the look of many common black barn-door hardware systems.
Keeps the functional upgrade relatively discreet around the track area.
Take Some of the Shock Out of Every Hard Close
A door hitting its stop at speed transfers a sudden load through the door, roller, stop and track hardware. Soft-close action helps reduce that abrupt final impact during normal operation.
Reducing sudden end-of-travel impact can make operation feel gentler on the system.
Helps prevent the harsh stop-and-bounce feel common with fast sliding.
The entire door system feels more finished when the movement ends smoothly.
Soft Close Where You Need It
The set includes two damper units with mounting hardware, giving you flexibility for compatible barn-door configurations and installation requirements.
Two matching mechanisms are shown in the supplied product kit.
Multiple brackets, fasteners and adjustment components are shown with the kit.
The supplied image also shows an included hex / Allen key.

What Homeowners Notice First
“Our bedroom barn door used to slam if anyone pushed it even a little too hard. That was especially annoying at night. After adding the soft close, the last part of the slide feels much smoother and the loud bang is gone.”
— Michael R.“I was tired of reminding everyone to close the barn door gently. The kids would just send it down the track and it would hit the stop every time. This made the door feel a lot more controlled without changing the look of the hardware.”
— Jason T.“The biggest improvement for me wasn't just the noise. Before this, the whole door felt like it shook when it reached the end. Now it catches near the finish and closes in a much more finished, expensive-feeling way.”

Now Make the Way It Closes Feel Just as Good
No more deliberately slowing the door every single time. No more hard finish at the end of the track. Add a soft-close damper and give your barn door the smoother, quieter final movement it was missing.
